This project investigates how nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA), a potent environmental carcinogen, affects circadian rhythms and anxiety in zebrafish. Using behavioral tests, brain metabolomic and transcriptomic analyses, and dopamine/serotonin measurements, the study examines both adult fish and their offspring to understand NDMA’s intergenerational neurotoxic effects and potential health risks.
